Two Session QB Clinic
Flag Star Flight School will be hosting our first QB clinic
two session Clinic|May 15th and may 22nd | 4:00 - 5:30 pm | Langley HS|4th - 8th Grade
We are ECSTATIC to be hosting a two part QB Clinic as part of our new initiative, the Flag Star Flight School. We have QB Gurus who will strive to educate young quarterbacks on mechanics, footwork, read progressions, the various nuances of the position, and the importance of leadership and commitment to the TEAM.
These sessions will take place at Langley High School from 4:00 - 5:30pm on Saturday, May 15th and May 22nd. If you can commit to the process and grind of improving your craft as a Quarterback, the Flag Star Flight School is for you. Let’s Go!
Meet our QB Specialists!
Jake Genachowski
An All-DC QB selection at Maret School, Jake went on to play QB and eventually start at WR for Kenyon College. His senior year Jake won the Robert C. Widenkoff award for Leadership. After college, Jake joined the Maret Coaching staff as the Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach where he helped lead the Frogs to two State Championships.
Sam Appel
A former college teammate of Jake at Kenyon, Coach Sam played QB competitively for 15 years, earning 2 All-Conference nods at W-L in Arlington, VA. Sam took his “talents” to Kenyon College, where he played QB for 4 seasons. Coach Sam is obsessed with educating young QBs on the importance of leadership, commitment, and FOOTWORK.
Lorenzo Linsey
As a current QB at Georgetown University, Coach Zo brings a wealth of experience, skill and leadership to our staff. Prior to Georgetown, Lorenzo was a star at Wayne County High School, accounting for 42 touchdowns his senior season on his way to an All-State selection.
Joe Brunell
A current college QB and teammate of Zo at Georgetown, Coach Joe is a natural quarterback and leader. Joe was an 8 game starter at Georgetown this past season, and is ecstatic to help train the next generation of QBs. Joe B is the man and an excellent addition to our staff!
